25 days to go until the opening of the fifth property Iconic House…
Backstage
And that's 5! Thibaud Elzière and Robin Michel are about to raise the curtain on their fifth Iconic House property.
Le Cœur du Ferret, a house nestled in the heart of La Pointe, one of Le Ferret's most sought-after districts, is situated under the pines, in the heart of a lush eden, far from crowds and glances. It's just a stone's throw from Chez Hortense, the region's most legendary restaurant, a favorite with Ferretcapiens for a day (or for ever). A property designed in the spirit of a Cap Ferret hut, built by local architect Frédéric Thet.
"We drew inspiration from the imaginary world of wooden cabins in Cap Ferret and the surrounding region to create our own version. Countering the austerity and purity of the fisherman's hut to develop a bold aesthetic with a strong choice of materials and colors was the starting point for our thinking "* says Thibaud Elzière.
The Maison will unveil 7 ensuite monochrome bedrooms, a heated swimming pool, a huge living room, a wellness area... and will be able to accommodate up to 15 people. The decor, entrusted to Jaune Architecture, and the artistic curation, initiated in collaboration with Joséphine Fossey, will draw inspiration from Mexico. The inspiration comes from an account of a stay by the great Mexican painter Diego Rivera on the Côte d'Argent in the summer of 1918, invited by his friend André Lhote.
"From Hispanic heritage to the new guard of Mexican design and exceptional craftsmanship, Mexico offers us a formidable territory for expression," says Robin Michel.
The house will open its doors on July 9, but reservations are now open, with only one week still available in July.
Until then, work is in full swing... final stretch !
