Like a luxury cabin nestled beneath the pines, the House reinterprets the spirit of Cap Ferret through a colourful, welcoming and singular lens. Blackened wood, natural materials, craftsmanship and Mexican influences come together in a vibrant interior, deeply connected to its surroundings.

Cap Ferret, the Atlantic dream
Between the Basin and the ocean, Cap Ferret stretches along a narrow strip of sand bordered by dunes and covered by vast pine forests. For generations, life on the peninsula has followed the rhythm of the tides, the wind and the oyster-farming seasons. Fishing villages, timber cabins, traditional pinasses and wild beaches continue to shape the singular identity of Cap Ferret.
Throughout the twentieth century, artists and lovers of the Atlantic coast came here in search of a rare sense of freedom. A way of life between two waters. An art of living that remains both highly sought after and remarkably preserved.

Mexico meets the Atlantic Coast
Conceived as a conversation between Cap Ferret and Mexico, the interiors combine local influences, craftsmanship and references to Mexican modernist architecture. Vibrant colours, natural materials, sculptural furniture and bespoke artworks create a singular universe inspired by the work of Luis Barragán and the sun-drenched energy of Mexico.
A warm and confident vision imagined as a dialogue between craftsmanship, escapism and Atlantic living.

Bordeaux-based architect and founder of T Design Architecture, Frédéric Thet has developed an architectural language deeply rooted in Cap Ferret and its built heritage.
Inspired by oyster huts, timber houses and the peninsula's untamed spirit, he conceived a contemporary architecture imagined as a cabin opening onto nature and wide open spaces.
Founded in Marseille by Paula Alvarez de Toledo and Marine Delaloy, JAUNE Architecture develops a sun-filled approach informed by travel, natural materials and craftsmanship. The duo conceived a warm and vibrant interior where architecture, bespoke furniture and textures engage in a free-spirited and deeply lived-in dialogue.
For several years, Joséphine Fossey has developed a multidisciplinary practice spanning creative direction, interior architecture and curation. She creates places where art, design and experience form a coherent and deeply sensitive whole.
She curated the artistic programme alongside Thibaud Elzière and Robin Michel.
Founded in Paris by Austin Redfield Tondini and Violette Dattner, Redfield & Dattner develops a universe inspired by the decorative arts, classical painting and historic ornamental techniques. For Le Cœur du Ferret, the duo, together with painter Alexia Reveleau, created a monumental mural inspired by Diego Rivera's stay on the Côte d'Argent in 1918, blending scenes of the Basin, lush vegetation and the ever-changing light of Cap Ferret.
