For Chalet Le Sarto, he created a circular ceramic wall work installed above the indoor pool.

Founded by Sixtine de Préval and Jeanne de Puybaudet, Felicita conceives murals and painted decorations where craft, colour and contemporary creation come together. For Chalet Le Sarto, the two artists created the decorative paintings of the gym — a bespoke intervention inspired by the graphic world and decorative arts of the mountain.

A ceramic artist based in Paris, Héloïse Rival has developed a world nourished by folklore, fantasy and the imaginary. For Chalet Le Sarto, she created a ceramic mural in the main bathroom, inspired by the early days of winter sports and the world of Henry Jacques Le Même.

A ceramic artist based in the Baie de Somme, Louise Defente has developed a colourful world inspired by the decorative arts and folk traditions. For Chalet Le Sarto, she created a painted decoration on the doors and uprights of the bookcase — an echo of Savoyard peasant painting.

A textile artist based in Paris, Manon Daviet has developed a world inspired by natural landscapes, memory and the forms of the living world. Through tufting, embroidery and crochet, she creates works of generous texture that invite a sensory immersion in dreamed landscapes. For Chalet Le Sarto, she created a bespoke triptych installed in the dining room.

For the house, she created a canvas inspired by an emblematic landscape of the region, hung above the bed in one of the suites.

For the house, the studio imagined a spectacular bespoke oak bookcase whose geometric volumes pay homage to the modernist architecture of Luis Barragán.

A Mexican designer based in Mexico City, Joel Escalona works at the boundary between art and design, where objects transcend their function to become fully sensory experiences. Inspired by organic form and the beauty of imperfection, his wooden sculpture explores a subtle balance between tension and softness — bringing to the house a presence that is at once calming and powerfully sculptural.

Founded in Mexico by Giulia Zink and Mat Trumbull, OHLA STUDIO pursues a singular dialogue between contemporary design and artisanal craft. For Le Cœur du Ferret, the studio conceived the dramatic living room fireplace, realised in pink Cantera stone. A true centrepiece of the house, it weaves a narrative between Mexico and Cap Ferret through a series of engraved motifs evoking landscapes, traditions and memories shared between the two cultures.

A painter from Cap Ferret, Alexia Reveleau draws her inspiration from the landscapes and history of the peninsula. In collaboration with Redfield & Dattner, she created a panoramic mural evoking the meeting of André Lhote and Diego Rivera, and the life of the Bassin d'Arcachon across the course of a day — pinasses, dunes, vegetation and ever-shifting light.

Founded in Paris by Austin Redfield Tondini and Violette Bonis Charancle Dattner, Redfield & Dattner reinterprets the great traditions of painted decoration through contemporary creation. For Le Cœur du Ferret, the studio conceived, alongside Alexia Reveleau, a monumental mural celebrating the landscapes, figures and imaginative world of the Bassin d'Arcachon.

A Spanish photographer based in San Sebastián, Yosigo has developed an instantly recognisable visual world of clean lines, warm colours and minimalist composition. Drawn to architecture, light and man-made landscapes, he captures scenes from everyday life and transforms them into images that are graphic, timeless and quietly arresting. Three of his photographs are featured in the main bastide.

A Belgian collective specialising in artistic pool design, Ceci n'est pas une piscine transforms the swimming pool into a work of art open to the sky. For Les Hauts de Gordes, the collective worked alongside artist Robin Vermeersch to create a spectacular graphic pattern that animates the surface of the water, conjuring a mesmerising illusion of movement.

A Belgian artist based in Waregem, Robin Vermeersch works across painting, drawing and sculpture, drawing inspiration from the invisible forms of the living world. His pieces — poised between abstraction and the organic — explore natural structures and phenomena that elude the naked eye. For Les Hauts de Gordes, he conceived the design of the pool floor, realised in collaboration with the Belgian collective Ceci n'est pas une piscine.

A towering figure of twentieth-century art and the father of optical art, Victor Vasarely left an indelible mark on the history of contemporary art through his geometric compositions and explorations of perception. Deeply attached to Gordes — where he owned a house — he is present at Les Hauts de Gordes through several works and editions displayed throughout the property.

A major figure in optical art, Yvaral (Jean-Pierre Vasarely) began exploring from the 1950s the interactions between geometry, colour, movement and perception. Regarded as one of the pioneers of digital art, he developed an experimental body of work grounded in mathematics and visual illusion, extending the research initiated by his father, Victor Vasarely.

Trained at the Penninghen school in Paris, Gaultier Rimbault-Joffard has developed a drawing practice shaped by his background in interior architecture and his keen eye for objects, materials and design. For Les Hauts de Gordes, he created the property's entrance gate — a monumental work whose perforations cast a subtle play of light, movement and shifting perspectives from the very first moment of arrival.

Founded by Amélie Ricard, Maison 1909 reinterprets the traditional Provençal boxwood bead curtain through entirely hand-crafted creations. At Les Hauts de Gordes, the atelier produced a monumental work installed in the summer kitchen — its geometric pattern evoking the world of Op Art, shifting and transforming with the wind and light.

A defining figure of kinetic art, Julio Le Parc has been exploring since the 1960s the effects of light, movement and colour on perception. An inescapable presence in contemporary art, he has built a playful and immersive body of work that invites the viewer to become an active participant in the visual experience. A poster by the artist is featured in the property's gym.

Founded in 1882 in Nyons, the Scourtinerie perpetuates a singular craft rooted in the weaving of scourtins — the traditional filters once used in olive oil production. Still run by the Fert family, it remains today the last scourtinerie in France and a living testament to Provençal artisanal heritage.

A German photographer, Ilka Kramer explores through her work the relationships between architecture, landscape and human presence. Playing with perspective, scale and visual illusion, she creates images that invite a different way of seeing the space around us. For Les Hauts de Gordes, he conceived a monumental sculpture in mirror-polished stainless steel — a piece that enters into dialogue with the Provençal landscape, reflecting the ever-changing light of the valley.

A French artist and illustrator, Jean Jullien has built an expansive body of work spanning painting, drawing, illustration and installation. Celebrated for a gaze that is at once perceptive and gently mischievous, he has crafted a world that is instantly recognisable — carried by a line that is simple yet deeply expressive. In recent years, his practice has turned toward something more personal and introspective.

Felicita brings together painters Sixtine de Préval and Jeanne de Puybaudet, both trained at the Penninghen school in Paris. Inspired by Provence, Italian painting and the decorative arts, their work weaves together colour, narrative and artisanal craft. For Les Hauts de Gordes, in collaboration with Sonia Rinaldi, they conceived the design of the orientation table installed on one of the property's terraces.

An artist specialising in stone engraving and enamelled lava, Sonia Rinaldi creates bespoke works and architectural elements for both interior and exterior settings. For Les Hauts de Gordes, working alongside Felicita, she crafted an orientation table in sculpted stone mapping the key landscapes and landmarks visible from the property.

An ornamental blacksmith based in the Vaucluse, Jean-Philippe Fally draws his inspiration from the plant world and the landscapes of Provence. For Les Hauts de Gordes, he created a monumental suspended metal sculpture for the winter sitting room, whose cast shadows animate the space as the light shifts throughout the day.

Founded by Jérémie du Chaffaut, Éditions Midi works with artisans from the South of France to design furniture and objects that reinterpret traditional craft in a contemporary language. Guided by an exacting approach to materials, an economy of form and a commitment to local making, each piece is a celebration of lasting craft — designed to endure.

An artist and sculptor, Thalia Dalecky has developed an organic world inspired by the human body and its many representations. Through forms that are at once sensuous and spare, her work questions our relationship to others and to ourselves. For the Longueur d'Onde room, she conceived a ceramic wall sculpture composed of abstract profiles whose relief, brought to life by natural light, casts a subtle play of shadows and silhouettes across the wall.

Rooted in a sensitive engagement with landscape and the natural world, her practice produces poetic images in which colour, texture and light hold a central place. Her photographs invite a renewed way of seeing the world around us.

An artist and maker, Julien Beaucourt has spent over a decade working at the intersection of sculpture, architecture and material experimentation. With a deep passion for concrete — which he shapes as though it were a living material — he created for Les Hauts de Gordes a spectacular tree-form fireplace in sprayed concrete, now one of the defining pieces of the winter sitting room.

From Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, Joseph Bayol has always painted from a place of deep rootedness — in the landscapes, colours and light of the South. Through natural pigments, inks and the interplay of texture, his instinctive practice celebrates a land he has never stopped exploring. A black-and-white triptych hangs in the winter sitting room of the main house.

A filmmaker, documentary-maker and photographer, Sébastien Zanella has built a visual world shaped by surf, skateboard and alternative cultures. His sensitive eye for light, movement and landscape produces images that are at once raw and quietly poetic. One of his photographs adorns a wall of the yellow room, on the upper floor of the main house.

A photographer working between the Landes and the Basque Country, Elodie Villalon has developed a sensitive practice in film photography, guided by a pursuit of authenticity and the beauty of unguarded moments. The main house and the Conciergerie feature a selection of her photographs, including several from a series made in the Landes.

Rosatelier is the studio founded by Justine Rossetti, a decorative artist trained in fine arts and the techniques of painted decoration. For Les Bords du Lac, she produced a remarkable body of bespoke lacquer and patina work — most notably the richly coloured ceilings of the living room and several bedrooms, which have become defining signatures of the house.

Palefroi is the duo formed by French artists and screen-printers Damien Tran and Marion Jdanoff. Based in Berlin, they have been building since 2013 an exuberant graphic world spanning illustration, publishing and artisanal print. Their work — instantly recognisable for its vibrant colours and free-spirited compositions — occupies a singular space between contemporary art and the printed image.

An artist and maker based in Bayonne, Sonia Laudet has crafted a singular world where textile, colour and composition meet with quiet poetry. Drawing on collage, sewing and the reassembly of materials, her work gives rise to pieces of free, organic form and quiet sensibility. One of her textile works hangs in the upstairs corridor of the main house.

Renowned for the richness of its patterns, the quality of its fabrics and its mastery of colour, it has dressed the finest interiors for nearly one hundred and fifty years. At Les Bords du Lac, its textiles are woven into the very identity of the house — through curtains, upholstery and decorative details throughout.

A Swedish artist, Soraya Forsberg has developed a painting practice that is both sensitive and expressive, rooted in colour, form and reclaimed materials. Her works — at once calming and quietly vibrant — give new life to matter otherwise destined to be discarded. One of her paintings adorns the main wall of the massage room, conceived as a cocoon of calm and stillness.

A stonemason based in the Vaucluse, Stéphane Fontaine brings his craft to bear on both heritage restoration and bespoke commissions. For Les Bords du Lac, he carved a stone plaque bearing the property's emblem, installed at the entrance of the main house.

A French artist based in Bayonne, Grégory Cuquel has built an exuberant world where drawing, collage and painting give rise to dreamlike scenes populated by figures and imaginary forms. For Les Bords du Lac, he created a bespoke work inspired by the Landes landscape and the atmosphere of Hossegor's coastal lake — installed along the staircase of the main house.

Their work weaves together craft, illustration and the poetry of the everyday into a graphic language that is immediately their own. For Les Bords du Lac, they conceived a series of hand-painted plates inspired by the house and its surroundings.

For Les Bords du Lac, he created a bespoke piece inspired by Hossegor, alongside several drawings featured in the rooms of the house.

Based in Amsterdam, Eline Baas creates unique works from raw materials — wood, clay, metal — allowing textures, irregularities and the interplay of light to speak through her artisanal techniques. Each piece is a testament to the inherent richness of matter. A work from her Eclipse collection is featured in one of the rooms of the Conciergerie.

A French artist and illustrator, Philippe Weisbecker is celebrated for his pared-back world devoted to everyday objects, furniture and architecture. Through a minimalist line and an acute eye for detail, he uncovers the quiet beauty of the simplest forms. Several of his works are featured at Chalet Le 1550.

Based in Amsterdam, Arco Blaauboer pursues a sculptural practice centred on wood and geometric form. Crafted entirely by hand, his abstract compositions draw on the founding principles of modernism — evoking, in particular, the world of Italian designer Enzo Mari.

A Swiss photographer, Maurice Schobinger is celebrated for his spectacular images of high-altitude terrain captured deep within the Alps. Through precise, vertiginous framing, he reveals both the raw power and the fragility of the mountain landscape. His photographs offer a vision of the Alpine world that is at once contemplative and graphically compelling.

Trained at the École des Beaux-Arts in Valence, Jean-Patrice Rozand develops a geometric body of work in which light, shadow and volume play a central role. For Chalet Le 1550, his monumental Corten steel sculpture greets visitors at the entrance, evoking the fluid motion of a skier in full descent.

For Chalet Le 1550, the duo created a bespoke mural around the pool, depicting the mountains of Courchevel in a style reminiscent of the American artist Rockwell Kent.

An Irish artist and illustrator trained in architecture, Nigel Peake has developed an instantly recognisable graphic world where landscapes, architectural structures and natural elements converge in meticulous compositions. A series of five drawings from his project Sides is displayed in the chalet's family suite.

Maison Henry Jacques Le Même reissues furniture in limited series drawn from the archives of the architect — a defining figure in the history of Megève and the inventor of the "Chalet du Skieur." The chalet is home to the first edition of the Prieuré floor lamp, crafted in solid oak by local artisans.

A Franco-Swedish designer who trained at Philippe Starck's studio before opening his own cabinetmaking atelier near Paris, Patrick Kim-Gustafson pursues a sculptural practice centred on solid wood. For Chalet Le 1550, he conceived an oak console carved by gouge — a quietly evocative presence at the entrance of the chalet, conjuring the textures of nature and the mountain from the very first step inside.

A French artist and illustrator trained in London, Jean Jullien is celebrated for his spontaneous line, subtle humour and quietly perceptive take on everyday life. Whether through painting, drawing or illustration, he crafts a world that is instantly recognisable — at once unassuming and deeply evocative. For Chalet Le 1550, he created the large canvas that anchors the main living room.

A cabinet-maker based in Savoie, Sylvain Perrier brings an exacting approach to woodwork — poised between traditional craft and a resolutely contemporary aesthetic. Attentive to detail, precision of execution and the considered use of materials, he creates bespoke pieces that reveal both the inherent nobility of wood and the depth of local savoir-faire.

A Paris-based artist and graphic designer, Denis Boudart has developed a practice rooted in collage, painting and graphic art. Through abstract forms, colour play and minimalist compositions, his work opens generous space for interpretation and imagination. At Chalet Le 1550, a series of four monochrome works hangs above the bed in an upstairs room.

From Chambéry, Joséphine Audebert works at the intersection of painting and collage, drawing deeply from the Alpine landscapes that surround her. Her practice plays with horizons, textures and shifts in light to offer a poetic, contemporary reading of the mountain. One of her works hangs in a room of the chalet, where it captures all the quiet poetry of snow-covered peaks.

Felicita brings together painters Sixtine de Préval and Jeanne de Puybaudet, both trained at the Penninghen school in Paris. Drawn to narrative worlds and decorative painting, they conceived for the Kids Paradise a series of hand-painted murals — an universe of exploration and adventure, imagined as the secret hideout of young mountain dwellers.

Felicita brings together painters Sixtine de Préval and Jeanne de Puybaudet, both trained at the Penninghen school in Paris. Drawing on the decorative arts, Italian painting and the colours of the South, their work sets heritage and contemporary creation in dialogue. For Chalet Le 1550, they painted the beam motifs of the main living room directly on site, freely inspired by the modernist architecture of the Flaine resort.

An upholstery and textile atelier rooted in the region, Atelier des Frères upholds a demanding artisanal craft in bespoke fabric and furnishing. For the house, the atelier produced much of the curtains, cushions and wall hangings — their geometric patterns and vibrant colours echoing the artistic and architectural spirit of the 1960s and 70s.

A Swedish designer trained in engineering before turning to interior architecture and design, Olle Andersson is best known for his work in furniture and lighting. A leading figure in Scandinavian design, he has received the Excellent Swedish Design award on multiple occasions — his pieces consistently balancing functionality, restraint and timeless elegance.

A British artist and designer based in London, Spencer Walton has built a sculptural practice centred on the human figure and its vulnerabilities. Working in ceramics, he explores imperfection, transformation and preservation — giving form to works that are organic, raw and deeply expressive.

Based in Vallabrègues — a Provençal village long renowned for its basketry tradition — Atelier Vime brings an elegant sensibility to the artisanal crafts of wicker and rattan. Poised between heritage and contemporary creation, the publishing house has produced pieces that have become icons of French design. Two Atelier Vime pendant lights hang in the grand salon of the main house.

A French filmmaker and photographer, he has developed a visual world shaped by cinema, fashion and narrative. Beginning in music video, he went on to collaborate with leading houses and brands, directing films and campaigns. Several of his photographs are featured throughout the house.

A major figure on the French contemporary art scene, Mathieu Mercier has spent decades exploring the boundaries between art, design and everyday objects. With wit and precision, his work subverts the codes of functionality to question our relationship with form and use. The house is home to a pair of Love & Hate gloves — an iconic work drawing on tattoo culture and the film Night of the Hunter — that plays on the duality of emotion in the face of creation.

Gallerist and collector born in Vence, Yvon Lambert stands as one of the defining figures of contemporary art in France. Through his Paris gallery and later his collection in Avignon, he championed successive generations of major artists — from Cy Twombly to Anselm Kiefer. The house brings together a curated selection of posters, photographs and editions from his world, as a tribute to his visionary eye for contemporary creation.

Aeand is an independent creative studio with a graphic language rooted in artisanal print, abstract form and natural materials. Through objects, wall pieces and decorative compositions, the studio pursues an aesthetic that is at once minimalist, organic and resolutely contemporary.

Trained at the École des Beaux-Arts in Reims, Thalia Dalecky has built a sculptural practice centred on the body and its transformations. Her work — poetic, deeply feminine — probes the themes of rebirth, movement and freedom. For L'Étoile des Baux, she conceived a series of five organic sculptures set into the heart of the rock itself, their forms shifting between faces and fragments of the body, brought to life by the play of shadow and light throughout the day.

Based in L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, Caroline Beauzon draws her practice from the decorative arts and the great creative figures of the twentieth century. With a keen eye for technique and material, she has long been drawn to a single, defining motif: the chair — a thread that runs quietly through the whole of her work. For L'Étoile des Baux, she created a series of drawings conceived entirely around this signature theme.

From the Alpilles, Bayol paints with instinct and light — his work shaped by the landscapes, colours and textures of Provence. Through natural pigments, inks and the interplay of light, he celebrates a land he has never stopped exploring. One of his canvases hangs in a room of the main house.

Painter and musician based in Arles, Arsène Welkin crafts a contemplative body of work steeped in philosophy, mythology and the figures of the Mediterranean world. Through portraits, hushed scenes and historical references, he weaves a universe at once intimate and timeless. One of his canvases — depicting a torero, an emblematic figure of the South — hangs in a room of the main house.

French designer Henri Canivez, trained at the Design Academy Eindhoven and shaped by his experience in Philippe Starck's studios, develops a multidisciplinary practice spanning furniture, architecture and creative direction. For the house, he designed a monumental bespoke bookcase inspired by the world of Miró, whose star motif echoes the property's poetic identity.

Multidisciplinary artist Florence Bamberger works at the intersection of painting and ceramics. Drawing on decorative arts and visual storytelling, her practice combines figurative compositions, vibrant colours and a richly symbolic imagination. For L'Étoile des Baux, she created a monumental five-metre-long mural.
