about
Le Sarto pays tribute to the work of Henry Jacques Le Même, a visionary figure of Alpine architecture and the inventor of the "Chalet du Skieur." Between Art Deco heritage and Alpine craftsmanship, the chalet reveals a mountain that is both elegant and warm.
Sculpted wood, geometric lines, generous open living spaces and a spirit of family life extend this vision of a refuge where the mountains are lived with equal intensity — by the fire in winter, facing the peaks in summer.

The destination
Megève, mountain elegance
In the 1920s, Megève became the winter destination of choice for French high society, under the impetus of Baroness Noémie de Rothschild. It was here that Henry Jacques Le Même invented the "Chalet du Skieur" — a new way of inhabiting the mountains, more elegant, more comfortable, and open to the landscape beyond.
Megève has since come to embody a singular Alpine art de vivre, where heritage, skiing and gentle living intertwine. Summer and winter alike, the village draws mountain lovers to its historic chalets and an atmosphere that remains understated, elegant and deeply rooted in family life.

Architecture : TEMA
Interior Designer : Claves
Art Curation : Claves
Founded by Laure Gravier and Soizic Fougeront, Claves develops a refined and deeply considered approach to interior architecture. Drawing on the richness of the French decorative arts, the duo creates elegant, lived-in spaces where patterns, ornament, craftsmanship and artistic references engage in dialogue with both the history of a place and those who inhabit it.
A multidisciplinary artist trained at the École des Beaux-Arts de Paris, Côme Clérino works at the intersection of painting, sculpture, textiles and ceramics. Inspired by craftsmanship, everyday objects and popular culture, his practice creates sensitive and narrative worlds where form, material and poetry meet freely.
Artist and ceramicist Louise Defente, trained at the Maison de la Céramique in Dieulefit, develops a practice situated between painting and the decorative arts. Drawing on glazed earthenware, she transforms everyday and functional objects into spontaneous, colourful creations full of life.
Héloïse Rival's ceramic practice sits at the boundary between decorative art and storytelling. Through glaze and relief, she composes richly layered works populated by fragmented figures, fantastical motifs and references drawn from the domestic, the mythological and the dreamlike.
For Le Sarto, she created a ceramic mural in one of the Maison's bathrooms, where fantasy, refinement and the spirit of the mountains meet.
