ABOUT US

a distinctive vision

and the art of living

Manifesto

Two brothers. One shared intuition.

From the HOUSE comes EMOTION.

Founded in 2021 by brothers Thibaud Elzière and Robin Michel, Iconic House was born from a simple conviction: today, the house represents the most accomplished form of ultra-luxury hospitality.

An entrepreneur in both technology and hospitality, Thibaud joined forces with his brother Robin. Raised in Provence and deeply attached to the art of hosting found in the great homes of the South of France, they created the first private collection of exceptional Maisons Hôtelières. Together, they share the same intuition: luxury no longer seeks to impress. It seeks to make us feel.

For decades, luxury hospitality built its world around spectacle, grand lobbies, protocols and visible expressions of prestige.

Yet the most meaningful emotions are often found elsewhere: in the warmth of a family home, around a dinner that lingers late into the evening, in the silence of the morning before the house awakens, in children moving freely from room to room.

Few places create this feeling as naturally as a house.

This conviction led Iconic House to make a deliberate choice: to own every House in the collection. Each one is carefully selected in destinations that hold personal meaning for the founders, then entirely restored and brought to life under their direction.

Because in their eyes, ultra-luxury has always been rooted in rarity and craftsmanship. An artisanal approach to hospitality made possible by a deliberately limited collection, where every House is imagined both as a collector's home and as a work of art in its own right, with a central place given to art, design and craftsmanship.

Houses shaped by three core convictions: greater intimacy, deeper personalisation and stronger character. Places where life unfolds at its own rhythm. Where hospitality adapts naturally to individual preferences. Where every detail is chosen for its singularity rather than its ability to be replicated.

Houses designed for togetherness, destined to linger in memory and host the moments that matter most.

Luxury is no longer something to admire. It is something to inhabit.

OUR COMMITMENTS

Guided by
pragmatism and humility

Because every action matters, we favour an approach rooted in continuous improvement.

Reducing water and energy consumption, optimising transportation, providing electric vehicles, limiting single-use plastics and promoting responsible waste management are among the many measures implemented across the collection.

Each House is selected for its history, architecture or local significance. Through every restoration, the intention is to reveal the character of a place, preserve its remarkable features and contribute to the transmission of a living heritage.

We believe in measured growth. Every opening follows the same principle: selecting singular places, restoring them with care and embedding them within a long-term vision.

Local recruitment, partnerships with regional artisans and producers, support for local initiatives and the promotion of savoir-faire through our ICONS guides all reflect a desire to contribute meaningfully to the places where our Houses are rooted.

Because a destination is best discovered through the people who bring it to life.
